Completed blue Miwonder LeArm robot on Eddie Chen's workbench
Miwonder LeArm · build in progress

Hello, I'm Eddie.

I'm a robotic technician with practical industrial electrical experience and a software engineering background. I like work that starts with a real machine, a clear symptom, and a careful check.

My experience includes industrial panels, control wiring, sensors, and 12 V to 600 V electrical systems. I'm also building hands-on robotics and controls experience with a Miwonder LeArm and Allen-Bradley Studio 5000.

Available now for day-shift robotic technician and automation roles within 100 km of Markham.

Fault finding

My troubleshooting process

  1. 01

    Make it safe

Confirm the equipment state, identify hazards, and isolate energy before touching hardware.

  2. 02

    Define the fault

Check the sequence and separate what is working from what is not.

  3. 03

    Trace the signal

Follow power, inputs, logic, outputs, and mechanical motion in order.

  4. 04

    Fix and verify

Correct the confirmed cause, test the full sequence, and record the change.
